After several years working for large corporations in London, I turned to acupuncture for support with my own health and fertility issues.

Acupuncture was very much a ‘last resort’ and I admit I was initially very sceptical! Fast forward a few months and my health was in a much better place. Without a doubt, I attribute the successful pregnancy and delivery of my daughter to the effects of acupuncture.

Disillusioned with the corporate world, I decided to retrain as an acupuncturist at the renowned International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM).

I set up Heathfield Acupuncture to share my love of acupuncture and support the local community. I hold a first class Licentiate in Acupuncture and am a fully-certified member of the British Acupuncture Council.

I started working with Fran a little while before we were due to have a frozen embryo transfer. I’d had a round paused on our IVF due to a complication, so it gave me the time and space to get myself ready for our frozen round. Fran was amazing from the get go and we did various sessions preparing me for my FET, even a session the night before. I am not good at relaxing, but I LOVED coming to acupuncture so much because I had the freedom to just exist and calm my mind and body down. I credit Fran with being one of the reasons our transfer worked and we’re now over 12 weeks pregnant with our little miracle!
